Are You One of the Children of the Lost Tribes of Israel?

Who are the Israelites recorded in the Bible?

The Israelites are the descendants of Jacob, whose name was changed to Israel by God. Israel had twelve sons, and their descendants formed the twelve tribes of Israel, each playing a significant role in Biblical history.

Could your lineage trace back to these significant figures in Biblical history?

God's Everlasting Covenant with Israel

God entered an everlasting covenant with Abraham, his son Isaac (Genesis 17:7, 21), and then with Isaac’s son Jacob (Genesis 35:10-12), whom God renamed Israel.

Jacob’s descendants became the twelve tribes of Israel, and the covenant with Israel gave them a significant role in God’s divine plan.

The everlasting nature of God’s covenant means that its significance and blessings extend through generations. If you feel a connection to this divine promise, you may be part of this sacred lineage.

Are you one of the descendants of these covenantal promises?

Israel's Journey Through History

After being freed from Egyptian bondage by Moses, God led the Israelites through the wilderness for 40 years. They eventually entered the promised land under Joshua’s leadership, establishing their presence in the land God had promised to their ancestors. Throughout their history, they experienced periods of faithfulness and rebellion, during which God raised up judges and later kings to lead and guide them (1 Samuel 8:5, 9:17).

Scattered and Lost

The history of the Israelites took a dramatic turn when the united, Israelite kingdom split into two: the northern kingdom of Israel and the southern kingdom of Judah.

Due to their disobedience to God’s commands, the ten northern tribes of Israel were conquered by the Assyrians and subsequently scattered throughout the world, losing their distinct identity as Israelites.

This dispersion was part of God’s plan, as prophesied in Amos 9:9 and reiterated in Jeremiah 31:10.

Could your ancestry trace back to these scattered tribes?

The dispersed tribes of Israel may have mingled with various cultures and nations over the centuries, and your heritage could be part of this hidden lineage.

Unbroken Promises to Israel

God’s promises to Israel are eternal and unbroken. He declares in Exodus 19:5-6 that if the Israelites obey His voice and keep His covenant, they will be a peculiar treasure unto Him above all people. These promises were reiterated through Moses, with God emphasising His enduring commitment to bless the Israelites for a thousand generations if they kept His commandments (Deuteronomy 7:6-12). The prophet Jeremiah affirmed the eternal nature of God’s covenant in Jeremiah 31:35-37. Similarly, the Psalms celebrate God’s faithfulness to His covenant (e.g., Psalm 105:7-11).

The unbroken and everlasting nature of these covenants means that their blessings and responsibilities continue through the ages.

Are these promises meant for you and your family?

Jesus and the Lost Tribes

Jesus Christ established two great commissions on earth, serving as a light to the Gentiles, and the glory of His people Israel (Luke 2:32). Before His death, Jesus commissioned His twelve disciples to find the lost Israelites and bring them back into their covenant relationship with God (Matthew 10:5-6, James 1:1).

Up until Jesus’ death and resurrection, soul salvation was given only to the Israelites through the Mosaic covenant (Leviticus 17:11, Exodus 30:16, John 4:22). Gentiles were without this gift (Ephesians 2:11-12). After His resurrection, Jesus prepared a place in heaven for all who believed in Him (John 14:2-3). He commissioned the Apostle Paul to preach to the Gentiles, offering them soul salvation by grace through Jesus’ death and resurrection (Romans 10:9-10). Jesus also preached to those who had died, offering them salvation (1 Peter 3:18, 4:6, Matthew 27:52-53, 2 Timothy 2:18).

Since these significant changes took place, many have concluded that there is no difference between the Israelites and the Gentiles. However, God has not forgotten His chosen people and His promises to them.

The New Covenant and Hope for Immortality

God declares in Jeremiah 31:31 and Hebrews 8:8 that He will establish a new covenant with the twelve tribes of Israel, where His laws will be written in their hearts and minds. This covenant promises not only spiritual renewal but also the ultimate gift of immortality.

Revelation describes the end times and the glorious rewards that will be bestowed by Jesus Christ on His return (Revelation 22:12). Specifically, Revelation 7:4-8 speaks of 144,000 sealed from the twelve tribes of Israel. This group is distinguished from a great multitude, representing all those who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Revelation 14:1-4 further describes the 144,000 as the remnant of Israel, redeemed from among men as the first fruits unto God and the Lamb.

Paul the Apostle explains that the dead will be raised to a spiritual glory, and the living will put on immortality (1 Corinthians 15:52-53). To receive this immortality, these individuals must be alive at Christ’s return and have honoured the law and the gospel (John 8:51, Matthew 5:17-19). God will remove their sin (Romans 11:26-27) and fulfill the covenant by restoring the Kingdom of God to them (Acts 1:6).

For Christian Israel, this embraces Hebrews 6:1, which encourages believers to move beyond the basic principles of the doctrine of Christ (soul salvation) and strive for perfection (immortality – being changed at Jesus Christ’s return to be made like Him without seeing death).

God’s first covenant promised the land of Canaan to the Israelites. The new covenant includes a promise of having their mortal bodies made immortal, like Jesus (Romans 8:29), at Jesus Christ’s return, without experiencing death (John 14:12). These two gifts are described in the Bible as incorruptible (soul salvation after the death of the body) and immortal (life of the body without death) (John 11:25-26, 1 Corinthians 15:52-54).

Could you be among the 144,000 and their families who will experience this extraordinary promise?

Gathering in Readiness for Christ's Return

The Bible provides irrefutable proof that a remnant of Israel will fulfill God’s promises and be saved. Prophecies foretell the gathering of the lost tribes in readiness for Jesus Christ’s return. Isaiah 10:21-22 and Jeremiah 31:10 speak of a remnant returning to the Mighty God, while Micah 5:8 and Romans 9:27 affirm that a remnant of Israel will be gathered. Jesus Himself indicated that the gathering would take place before His return, stating in John 8:51 and Matthew 5:17-19 that His followers must uphold God’s law. This gathering is a crucial part of the divine plan, preparing the way for the establishment of God’s Kingdom on earth.

Is it time for you to be gathered into God’s covenant and take your place in this prophetic fulfillment?
